I have been in the land and commercial Real Estate business since 1990. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. I started my own land and development company after graduating with a focus on small residential development. I also acquired my NC General Contractors license during this time. This eventually led me into the commercial side of the business. In 1997, my wife and I formed Cox Construction & Properties specializing in Commercial brokerage and leasing in eastern North Carolina and South Carolina. We have been very blessed with our success with well over several hundred successful transactions totaling more than $80,000,000 in gross sales. I achieved and acquired the coveted and respected CCIM designation in 2008′ and was most fortunate to become one of the elite commercial real estate experts in the nation.
During my time in the business, I have had the opportunity to put together deals, most of which have been for multiple locations, for such retailers and restaurants as: Wal-Mart Supercenters, Walgreens, Dollar General, CVS, Batteries Plus, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, Handy Mart Convenience Stores, Shoe Show, Bojangles Restaurants, IHOP, Sumo Restaurant, Ninja Restaurant, Domino’s Pizza, Cook Out Restaurant, El Korito Restaurant, to highlight and name a few. My expertise is also diverse in the fact that I am also responsible for many ground lease and purchase agreements for utility scale solar power generation that has potential to produce in excess of 250 MW. Enough to power over 150,000 homes.
The advertising strategies we use to gain exposure for our listings may include our company website, local advertising with a board sign and print advertising, as well as national exposure using Crexi, Loopnet, CCIM.NET, CoStar, and with CCIMREDEX and CCIM Mailbridge. We also send email property blasts of our listings to end users and investors that are actively looking property that fit the criteria they are looking for. The Commercial Real Estate market and environment has changed dramatically since the peak in 2007. It has never been more important than the present time for Landlords, Tenants, Appraisers, Lenders, and Investors to retain, trust, and rely on seasoned commercial professionals with a proven track record to assure their best interests and goals are achieved.
